We are an engineering and consulting firm created in 2006. Taller de Ingeniería Ursúa has a close relationship with the leading company in the sector SEMSA (Serveis i Equipaments de Muntanya, SA), sharing with it resources and knowledge.
Our main activity is consulting, planning, programming, development and management of mountain resorts projects. Our specialized services in mountain engineering include: design and conception of ropeways, snowmaking systems and ski trails design. In addition, our firm offers others standard engineering services.
In recent years, the implementation of ropeways in urban environments has allowed us to perform our work in cities, taking part of projects in which has been obtained an improvement in public transport, thanks to the possibilities cableways offer.

In the ropeways sector, our services covers from feasibility studies and subsequent drafts, to the construction supervision. These studies, based on the analysis of a set of environmental variables, include proposals covering all the intrinsic aspects of mountain resorts: lifts network, ski slopes, snowmaking network, cross-country ski tracks, routes, restaurants, ski schools, service buildings, technical facilities, basic supplies, machinery, personnel... The Master Plan must be considered as the essential route sheet in the development of a ski resort, both winter only and "4 Seasons" destinations.

Design of snowmaking systems. Taller de Ingeniería Ursúa plans, designs and supervises the execution of the works of all the elements of these facilities: water intakes, ponds and reservoirs for water storage, snow production plants, distribution networks and slope management during the operation.
